OLD TOWN – Rose Field, 49, passed away Nov. 22, 2009, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born June 26, 1960, the daughter of Harold and Bernice (Ouellette) Field. Rose was a one-of-a-kind, amazing woman. She had a heart of gold, and was always there to help whoever needed it. She spent 33-plus years with her husband, Michael, and had given him “two of the best boys in the world.” Along with her father, Rose is survived by her husband, Michael Hatt; her two sons, Michael Field and his significant other, Crissy, and John Hatt; her three brothers, John and his wife, Jane, of Florida, Harold Jr. and his wife, Lori, and Michael and his wife, Barbara; her four sisters, Donna Gilbert and her husband, Michael, Janice Ross and her significant other, Kevin Michaud, Sheila Tardiff and her husband, Michael, and Lisa Farrell; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She is also survived by her close friend, Kathy Breckenridge. She was predeceased by her mother. Family and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25.
