GLASTONBURY, Conn. – Louine F. Kimball Olson, 86, of Salmon Brook Center, Glastonbury, Conn., and formerly of Bolton, Conn., passed away Nov. 24, 2009, in Manchester, Conn. Mrs. Olson was born Feb. 23, 1923, in Bangor, daughter of the late Homer and Roxy (Bunker) Kimball. Louine graduated from Gordon College in 1945. She is survived by her three sons, Edward E. Olson and his wife, Linda, of Stockton Springs, John C. Olson and his wife, Lisa, of Bolton, Conn., and James C. Olson and his wife, Renee, of Hubbardston, Mass.; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Louine was predeceased by her devoted husband, the Rev. Edward J. Olson, former pastor of Central Baptist Church, Portsmouth, N.H.; and her brother, Homer “Bar” Kimball. The family thanks the caring and devoted staff and volunteers at Salmon Brook Center. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, at J. Verne Wood Funeral Home – Buckminster Chapel, 84 Broad St., Portsmouth, N.H.
