BANGOR – Dorothy Hapworth, 96, died Nov. 28, 2009, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born March 1, 1913, in Bangor, the daughter of William and Josie (Bass) Sabine. Dorothy was a devoted member of Twin City Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and singing. She once sang on a program on WABI radio. Surviving are one son, Richard Drew of Bangor; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert Hapworth. Services will be private.
