RIPLEY – Lucille (Gustin) Irvin, 51, died Nov. 28, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Jan. 29, 1958, in New Haven, Conn., a daughter of Lawrence and Kathleen (Hall) Gustin. She was employed as a behavior specialist at the Charlotte White Center, Dover-Foxcroft, until her retirement due to failing health. Lucille attended and was recently baptized at Dexter Christian Community Church. She was a supporter and active volunteer with Dexter Recreational Department. She was also a supporter of the Charlotte White Angels program. Lucille enjoyed her flower gardens, her many trips to Old Orchard Beach and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth of Ripley; a son, Lee Flagg and partner, Jennifer Duplisea, of Corinna; a daughter, Amanda Lupo and partner, Jonathan Wilbur, of Dexter; five grandchildren, Tyler, Brayden and Makalya Flagg, Andreja and Jylian Lupo; as well as special friends, Bob and Paula Sambito, and Sarah Whitney. A celebration of her life will be celebrated 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at Dexter Regional High School Cafeteria, with a benefit spaghetti dinner. Pastor Lois Field will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Charlotte White Center Angels Program, care of Bridgett Ireland, 572 Bangor Road, Dover-Foxcroft, ME 04426.
