WEST ENFIELD – Leroy G. Tenney, 68, died Jan. 5, 2010, at a Lincoln hospital. He was born Dec. 1, 1941, in Boston, the son of George and Eva (Firth) Tenney. Leroy was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. He enjoyed going for long rides on back roads. He is survived by three sons, Craig, Gary and David Tenney; a daughter, Beverly Millett; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Michael, Tylar, Ryan, Parker, Lauren and Audrey; longtime significant other, Lillian Jipson; a sister, Sheila Gallaher and Jim; nephews and nieces, Brian, Karen, Donnie, Wayne and Dennis; best friends, JR Spencer and all of Lillian’s family; and his best buddy and companion, Koko. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Madeline Blaise. There will be no services at this time. A celebration of Leroy’s life will be held at a later date.
