COLUMBIA FALLS – Mary O. Look died New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, 2009, at a Narraguagus Bay health care facility. She was born Dec. 16, 1935, in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Daniel and Elvira Mae Hilyard. Mary was happily married to Ralph D. Look of Addison for 55 years. She was an excellent wife who was dedicated to her children and her church. She served as head cook at church reunions for many years. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Daniel and Elvira; and siblings, Betty Nash and Sonny Hilyard. Mary is survived by her husband, Ralph D. Look; and their three children, Darrell and his wife, Teresa, of Kansas City, Mo., Cindy Look and her husband, Robert Simpson, of Columbia Falls and Mark Look and his wife, Lori, of Kansas City, Mo.; siblings, Clarence and wife, Cece Hilyard of Bowdoinham, Elsie Gardner of Nashville, Tenn., and Daun Horten of Milbridge; grandchildren, Katie Mae and her husband, Zach, of Sommerville, Mass., Amy and her husband, Greg, of Portland, Brian and girlfriend, Dena, of Portland, Samantha of New Hampshire, Bill and his wife, Cassaidy, Donald and his wife, Candice, Greg and his wife, Shawnee, and Lucy, all from the Kansas City, Mo., area; and great-grandchild, Annzlea Whenham of Kansas City, Mo. Mary leaves many nieces and nephews who loved their aunt Mary. She also leaves many friends in the church from Maine and all across the country. We thank all of our friends and family who have showed so much concern and love. We also thank the staff of Narraguagus Bay Health Care Facility for the excellent and professional care she received at their facility. We are extremely grateful for their excellent service – God bless them. Memorial services to be announced in the spring.
