GRAND LAKE STREAM – Lillian Faye Brown, 89, passed away Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, at Atlantic Rehab & Nursing Center. Faye was born Feb. 10, 1920, in Grand Lake Stream, daughter of the late Edward and Charlotte (Hold) Brown. She attended Grand Lake Steam Congregational Church. In addition to her parents, Faye was predeceased by her husband, Glenister T. Brown; a son, Rodney Brown; many brothers and sisters. Surviving are her son, Ralph Brown of Ellsworth; a sister, Marjorie Mahar of Calais; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Burial will take place at Grand Lake Stream Cemetery. A celebration of Faye’s life will be held at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to Grand Lake Stream Congregational Church.
