MILO and WOODVILLE, Mass. – Gloria L. Whalen, 77, wife of Dr. James Whalen, died Jan. 9, 2010, in Woodville, Mass. She was born in 1932, in Milo, the daughter of Clyde and Yvonne (Bouley) Angove. Gloria graduated from Milo High School, Class of 1949. She is survived by her husband and loving family, including her mother, Yvonne Angove of Milo; a daughter, Michele Washek and husband, Bob; three sons, Bill, Tom and Bob and wife, Michelle Whalen; three granddaughters, Emily, Melissa and Julie Washek; a grandson, James Whalen; two sisters, Myrna Ricker and Dorothy Ireland and husband, James; many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father; and a brother-in-law, Lawrence Ricker. A private memorial service will be held in Massachusetts.
