FRENCHVILLE – Normand E. Guerrette, 73, died Jan. 26, 2010, at a Frenchville nursing home. He was born Nov. 11, 1936, in St. Agatha, the son of Evariste and Yvonne (Albert) Guerrette. Normand retired from Fraser Paper after 38 years. He enjoyed dancing and playing cards. He is survived by one son, Jason and his wife, Hope Marie, of Litchfield, N.H.; two daughters, Liza and Paul of Chichester, N.H., and Amy and her husband, Steve Cureton, of Rumford; three grandchildren, Stevie, Nathan and Josef; one brother, Conrad of St. Agatha; and two sisters, Pauline Ouellette of St. Agatha and Jacqueline Gerard of Florida. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Phyllis Cote; two brothers, Maurice and Roger Guerrette; and two sisters, Lucille Daigle and Cecile Grandmaison. Friends and relatives may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 a.m. until time of services Friday at Michaud Funeral Home, Frenchville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Valley Church, Frenchville, with the Rev. Phil Cyr officiating. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery, Madawaska.
