DOVER-FOXCROFT – Emile “Whitey” J. LeBlanc, 76, passed away March 2, 2010, at a Brewer nursing home. He was born June 20, 1933, in Newburyport, Mass., the son of Joseph A. and Rosa (Vallee) LeBlanc. Whitey served his country with the U.S. Navy. He was a self-employed carpenter, who loved visiting with his cronies at the garage. He enjoyed doing yard work and riding shotgun while plowing with his friends. He is survived by his life partner of 34 years, Barbara Carolyn Berube of Dover-Foxcroft; three daughters, Jeanne Covill of Manchester, N.H., Mary LeBlanc of Manchester, N.H., and Rosa LeBlanc Trigg of Hampton, N.H.; a stepdaughter, Delana Berube Shoemake of St. Mary’s, Ga.; six grandsons, two granddaughters and one great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph; and a sister, Jeanne Tripper. In keeping with Whitey’s wishes, there will be no services.
