MILFORD – Jason W. “Jake” Feero, 81, died March 6, 2010, with his family by his side at the Maine Veterans Home, Bangor. He was born Nov. 2, 1928, in Alton, a son of Leroy Sr. and Nina (Moores) Feero. He was a veteran having served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed for many years by Local No. 1253 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and retired from James River Co. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Jake was a loving husband and father, and loved and admired his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved times spent at camp at Chemo Pond with family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Delia (Ashe) Feero; a daughter, Christine Danielson and her husband, David; grandchildren, Jason Danielson and his wife, Kristy, and Christy (Danielson) Dodge and her husband, Chad; great-grandchildren, Cory Danielson, Chase Dodge, Logan Dodge, Lindy Danielson and Joshua Crouse; siblings, Fern Ward, Lillian Wilde, Beatrice Perrigo, Evie Kidder and her husband, Malcolm, Nelson Feero and his wife, Linda, Louise Cox, and James Feero and his wife, Sharon; a special sister-in-law, Ardelle Yinger and her husband, Harvey; special nieces, Gloria Dionne, Gayle Holdgrave and Carol Blymyer; nephew, Brian Yinger and his wife, Deb; many other nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends, Arthur and Vin Knapp. Services will be private for the family and interment will be at Lawndale Cemetery, Old Town.
