CONNOR – Addis E. Levesque, 88, passed away unexpectedly March 8, 2010, at a Bangor hospital. Addis was born Sept. 23, 1921, in Connor, the son of Felix and Laura Levesque. Addis was a proud veteran, serving our country in World War II. He was stationed in Korea, Hawaii and Okinawa, Japan. He will be remembered for his times tinkering on projects in his garage, his love of horses, hunting, the wonderful soups he made and his affinity for burning things. Addis will be missed by his loving wife of more than 50 years, Lucille; and their children, Sally O’Neal and her significant other, Gerard Turcotte of Woodland, and Russell Levesque and his wife, Wanda, of Terryville, Conn. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kevin Turcotte, of Woodland, Lisa Kay of North Dakota, Tiffany and Joshua Levesque of Terryville, Conn.; great-grandchildren, Faith, Hunter and Mikey Kay of North Dakota; sister, Bertha Ouellette of Caribou; brothers, Ernest Soucy and his wife, Stella, of Augusta, Romeo Levesque of Connecticut; as well as his nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Addis was predeceased by his daughter, Margie Levesque; his sister, Amanda Kidney; and his brothers, Edgar Levesque and Clifford LaClaire. Friends are invited to call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, and 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 11, at Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, March 11, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, North Caribou, with the Rev. Aaron Damboise, celebrant.
