ELLSWORTH – Brandon Allan Tokas, 19, died March 8, 2010, in Ellsworth. He was born July 27, 1990, in Blue Hill, the son of Barton E. and Bonnie A. Tokas and Chuck and Sally (Williams) Ives. Brandon graduated from Mount Desert Island High School, Class of 2008. He attended University of Maine, Orono and was a brother of Pi Kappa Alpha. Brandon was employed as a construction worker. He enjoyed mixed martial arts, playing guitar, football, hiking and weightlifting. He attended First Baptist Church, Bar Harbor. He is survived by his parents; brother, Nicolas E. Tokas and companion, Brittany A. Pierce; sisters, Kassondra Macy and husband, Thomas, of Florida, Carrie Ives Stein and husband, Jason, of Harpswell; grandmother, Helene D. “Grady” Williams of New Hampshire; grandparents, Frank and Margaret Tokas of Massachusetts; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours will be held 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 11, at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth, where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, March 12, with the Rev.
