BRADFORD – Peter B. Stevens, 64, died Thursday, March 11, 2010, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Jan. 6, 1946, in Newburyport, Mass., son of Donald and Priscilla (Safford) Stevens. Peter enjoyed many hobbies, including camping, gardening, cooking and traveling. He was an avid supporter of Boy Scouts of America and very active in his community. Peter will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Vittoria (Bruni) Stevens; sons, Matthew Stevens of Bradford and Ethan Stevens of Bradford; daughters, Krystal Kenshalo and her husband, James, of Williamstown, N.J., and Scarlett Stevens of Bradford; brother, John Stevens and his wife, Carolyn, of Northfield, Vt.; many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are welcome to call 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 15, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where a funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, with the Rev. Dr. Rex Garrett, director of chaplaincy services at Eastern Maine Medical Center, officiating. Interment will be held at Mills Cemetery, Bradford. After the interment relatives and friends are invited to share conversation and refreshment at the Stevens’ home in Bradford.
