ASHLAND – Florence L. Graham, 91, died March 12, 2010, at a Houlton nursing facility. She was born Aug. 18, 1918, in Sheridan, the daughter of Clarence and Mary Jane (Dechane) Duprey. She was a member of Union Congregational Church of Ashland and a former president of I.T. Club at the church for many years. Florence is survived by two sons, Thomas R. Graham and his wife, Dianne, of Presque Isle, and Melvin P. Graham and his wife, Noreen, of Ashland; five grandchildren, Michael Graham and Julie Graham Berry, both of Ashland, LeRae Graham of New York, Debbie Lipeika and Randall Graham, both of Connecticut; seven great-grandchildren, John and Kyle Lipeika, Morgan and Taylor Graham, Rylee and Garret Graham, and Graham Berry; two adopted grandchildren, Amy and Adam Whipple of Worcester, Mass.; one sister, Cleo Bernier of Ashland; one brother, Eugene Picard of Mars Hill; several beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Graham, in 1996; six brothers, Gerald Dechane, Leon, Wilfred and Dana Duprey, Wilfred and Abel Picard; three sisters, Beatrice Bailey, Joan Picard and Frances Flint; and one grandson, James Graham. Relatives and friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Union Congregational Church, Sheridan Road, Ashland, where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Nathan Gardiner officiating. Spring interment will be at Ashland Municipal Cemetery. Those who wish may contribute in her memory to Union Congregational Church.
