BAR HARBOR – Joan Post Parker, 85, passed away peacefully Feb. 13, 2010, surrounded by her loving family in her cozy apartment at Birch Bay Harbor, Bar Harbor. She lived a full and wonderful life, and touched all who knew her with her grace, love and positive spirit. Joan is survived by her beloved children, Suzanne Plaut of Lubec, Nata Post of Oakland, Calif., and John Post of Kirkland, Wash.; her sisters, Thea Dean of Great Falls, Va., and Nata Smith of Michigan; four stepdaughters, many grandchildren and stepgrandchildren.
