HORTON, Ala., and BUCKSPORT – Anita L. Gaudet, 67, was risen into life everlasting March 18, 2010, from her home in Horton, Ala. She was born March 1, 1943, in Bucksport, the daughter of Austin and Beulah Varnum. Anita worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Henry Burgeon for several years. Her joy in life was sharing her love for family, friends and each individual she encountered, blessing the lives of each she met. Anita had a zest for many activities such as walking, dancing, traveling and gardening, and being a member of the Red Hat Society. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years, Richard “Dickie” Gaudet; children and their spouses, Richard and Marilyn, Joseph and Rebecca, Sherrie and Samuel, and Tannya; 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a cousin. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Harold. Graveside funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, at Riverview Cemetery, River Road, Bucksport.
