BENEDICTA – William C. Grabinsky, 78, died peacefully Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at his home. He was son of the late Albert and Dorothy Grabinsky of Wethersfield, Conn. He was a Korean War veteran and a retiree from Northeast Utilities. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an avid snowmobiler. He was a longtime member of the American Legion and Benedicta Snowgang. He is survived by his wife, Joan (Frey) Grabinsky; three daughters, Gail E. Gregg and Kim A. Ouimette, both of Virginia, and Dorothy L. Grabinsky of Colorado; a son, William J. Grabinsky; a brother, Alan R. Grabinsky; a sister, Carol J. Wilcox, all of Connecticut; seven grandchildren, three nephews; and his faithful dog, Fritz. He was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Grabinksy-Brenza; and a sister, Shirley M. Little. There will be no calling hours. A private burial will be held in Connecticut at the family’s convenience.
