FORT KENT and OXNARD, Calif. – Iris Cecelia (Long) LeBrun, 85, passed away Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010, at Westlake Health Care Center in California, after an extended decline of health. She was born Sept. 10, 1924, in Fort Kent, the third daughter of the late Solomon and Evelyn (Beaulieu) Long. Her education was in the Fort Kent and Eagle Lake school systems. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Valarian LeBrun of Van Buren, in 1999; her sisters, Rita (Long) Paradis, in 2006, and Margaret Mary (Long) Jugus, in 1993; and her brother, Conrad Long, in 2001. She is survived by her sister, Ouida Long of Bangor; her brother, Joseph and his wife, Anne (Wickstrom) Long of Shrewsbury, Mass.; her daughter, Valerie Bankey of Phoenix; son, Roger and wife, Kimberly (Kerwin) of Camarillo, Calif.; daughter, Jeannine Yoshida of Lakewood, Colo.; son, David of Oxnard, Calif.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are pending. Burial will be at Santa Clara Cemetery, Oxnard, Calif.
