PLYMOUTH and PALMYRA – Jeremy D. Richards, 30, died unexpectedly April 20, 2010, at a Pittsfield hospital. He was born April 2, 1980, in Waterville, the son of Ronald G. and Susan L. (Mason) Richards. Jeremy attended Nokomis Regional High School, Newport. At the time of his death, Jeremy was employed at Weather Vanes of Maine, Wells, as a salesperson. Jeremy’s greatest passion was his family and was always there for them because they came first. Jeremy is survived by his mother and stepfather, Susan and Alan Cray of Plymouth; his father and stepmother, Ronald and Emily Richards of Australia; his girlfriend, Karen Nelson of Palmyra; two brothers, Christopher Roy and his fiancee, Cherie, of St. Albans and Nathan Roy of Plymouth; his sister, Amy Cray and her boyfriend, John, of Portland; his maternal grandfather, Carroll Mason of Plymouth; his paternal grandfather, Gordon Richards of China; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be missed by his faithful companion and best friend, his golden retriever, Tonka. He was predeceased by his grandmothers, Marion Mason and Regina Richards. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, April 24, at Sawyer Cemetery, Plymouth, with Pastor Al Worden officiating.
