SOUTH PORTLAND – Genevieve A. Hubbard, of 425 Broadway, passed away unexpectedly May 11, 2010. She was born in 1915, in Jonesport, daughter of Margaret and Alfred Alley. She graduated from Jonesport High School in 1934. Genevieve was predeceased by her former husband of 34 years, Harold Hubbard; and a brother, Lionel Alley. Survivors include her sons, Carl Hubbard and wife, Debi, and Ike Hubbard and wife, Lois; daughter, Angeline Tuttle and husband, Robert; six grandchildren, Lisa, Robert, Todd, Tedd, TJ and Michael; six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews; one sister, Annie Coffin; and sister-in-law, Carol Alley. Visiting hours will be held 2-4 p.m. Sunday, May 16, at Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Road, South Portland. A graveside service will take place noon Monday, May 17, at Highland Memorial Cemetery, South Portland. Donations may be made in her memory to the charity of your choice.
