At Van Buren, Connor Lapierre’s sacrifice fly to center scored what would be the winning run for Van Buren as the Crusaders pulled out the win over Limestone/Maine School of Science and Mathematics.
The game ended with a popup to the first baseman, who caught it after previously dropping a throw that would have been the third out.
A.J. Edgecomb went the distance on the mound and gave up no earned runs. He also had three singles and an RBI for the Crusaders. Kyle Hews had two singles and two RBIs and Caleb Roy singled twice.
Aaron St. Pierre doubled and singled for the Eagles. Nate Berube had two singles and three RBIs. Nick Whitehead, Nate Tucker, and Austin Dow Smith each singled twice.

At Stacyville, Brandon Robinson pitched a five-inning, three-hitter in the Cougars’ 11-1 first-game victory, while Tyler Alexander scattered three hits in the Patriots’ 7-2 win in game two.
In the opener, Mark McGraw slammed a three-run home run and a two-run double to pace Katahdin behind Robinson, who struck out seven. Brady McNally rapped a double and two singles while Kolby Gallagher hit a solo homer and a single.
Tyler Alexander doubled and singled to lead Bangor Christian.
In the second game, Alexander fanned seven and was backed by five runs in the first two innings. Tim Whitaker and Ben Curosia each doubled and singled for the Patriots.
Chris Cloukey hit an RBI single and Gallagher singled and scored to pace Katahdin.

Dakota Sleeper had two singles and three runs scored for the Warriors. Chris Casey had an RBI double and an RBI sacrifice bunt. Cody Robinson doubled and Travis Casey allowed three walks and struck out seven.
Nick Bragg and Justin Howe singled for the Beavers.

Geel and Josh Gillespie combined on a two-hitter over five innings with 11 strikeouts and no walks.

At Guilford, Ryan Thompson hit a three-run triple to highlight a seven-run seventh inning that allowed Schenck of East Millinocket to rally past Piscataquis to earn its first win.
Schenck’s Thompson also hit a single and a fifth-inning two-run double while recording 12 strikeouts. Seth Witmer hit two singles and drove in three runs.
Yaal Kand paced the Pirates with a two-run homer in the fifth and an RBI double in the first. Nick Schmiedlehner added two singles and an RBI.

At Oakland, back-to-back home runs by Kyle Savage and Adam King in the top of the third inning propelled the unbeaten Rams to their 13th victory of the season.
Savage’s shot, a three-run blast to center field, and King’s solo homer to right erased an early 2-0 Messalonskee lead.
Savage also doubled and finished the game with four RBIs, while King had a double and a single to go with his home run. Winning pitcher Joe Stanevicz and Dylan Morris each added an RBI single for the Rams while Jack Stacey drove home a run with a sacrific
e fly.
Stanevicz worked into the seventh inning to improve his record this spring to 5-0. The lefthander allowed three earned runs on three hits with five strikeouts and three walks before giving way to reliever Jesse Wood.
Dylan Foster led Messalonskee with a double, single and two runs scored, while Cale Knox drove home two runs for the Eagles.

At Woodland, the Dragons’ Jordan Perry fired a three-hit shutout, outdueling the Knights’ Kam Jordan, who scattered four hits.
Perry, who stroked two singles, struck out 14 and walked two to pace Woodland. The Dragons scored in the first inning when Andy Brown singled, stole second, took third on a fielder’s choice and scored on Perry’s sacrifice fly.
Jordan, who singled twice for Narraguagus of Harrington, struck out six and walked three.

Vinny Malinauskas hit a two-run double for Dexter. Dylan Graffam had two singles and two RBIs and Casey Jordan an RBI single.

Timmy Barnes hit a two-run home run in the fifth and followed with a two-run single in the sixth for the Tigers. Tyler Mitchell added an RBI single in the fifth.
Kam Jordan hit a double and a run-scoring single for the Knights, who lost 1-0 to Woodland earlier. Ryan Hatt singled twice.

Houlton wins two
At Houlton, junior Ian Gervais recorded 10 strikeouts in leading Houlton to a 13-2 victory over Hodgdon in the Shiretowners’ second game.
Houlton also beat Fort Kent earlier 7-3.
In the first game, Mike Ring tripled and doubled to knock in a run for Houlton. Hunter Hanning hit two singles with an RBI.
Brady Lizotte led Fort Kent with an RBI single.
In the second game, Parker Sanderson had a double, single and two RBIs for the Shiretowners. Jordan Bragan also doubled and singled with one RBI and Tanner Caron hit two singles and drove in a run.
Ryan Wellington hit a two-run single to pace Hodgdon. Levi Scott singled.
