CUTLER – Joyce Margaret Cline, 66, died May 23, 2010, at a Lubec nursing home, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 8, 1944, in Cutler, the daughter of Winnie and Gertie (Ackley) Davidson. She worked for many years in the local fish factories. She enjoyed cookouts, time spent with family and she especially loved children. She is survived by her husband, David J. Cline; a son, David W. Cline and his wife, Laurie; grandchildren, Kadie Brooks and husband, Adam, Kari A. Cline and partner, Paul Harris, Jared Cline and Alyssa; two great-granddaughters, Makenzi A. Brooks and Makenna R. Brooks; brothers, Fred Davidson and family, Albert Davidson and family, and Wayne Dennison and wife, Laura, and their daughter, Angela and her fiance, Russ; two sisters, Mary Ann Crocker and her husband, Ben, and their children, Bennie Crocker Jr. and family, Donna Crocker and her partner, Ricky Holmes, and Freda Roberts and her partner, David Wallace, and their children, Bobbi Jo and partner, Ryan, and Bryan Wallace and partner, Crystle; a nephew, Dale Landeen and partner, Lee; nieces, Rita Landeen and Louisa Landeen and partner, Luke; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and big, black dog, KC. She was predeceased by a son, Daryl A. Cline; her parents, Winnie Davidson, and Gertie and Raymond Dennison; and a sister, Mavis Landeen and husband, Harold, and their son, Mark Landeen. The family extends a special thanks to Mary Dow Center, Ocean View Nursing Home and all her caregivers. A celebration of Joyce’s life will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, May 29, at Bay Ridge Elementary Gym, Cutler.
