AUGUSTA, Maine — Fire officials in Augusta, Maine, say no one was hurt in an early morning fire that forced 16 people from their home.

Officials say the fire started at about 1 a.m. Thursday in a three-story, six-unit apartment building.

Fire Chief Roger Audette says the cause of the blaze has not been determined, but it does not appear to be suspicious.
