CENTREVILLE, Md. – Marian Peabody Everdell, 28, died June 2, 2010. She was born Dec. 7, 1981, in Easton, Md., the daughter of Preston and Sarah Jayne Everdell of Centreville, Md. She grew up on the campus of Gunston Day School, Centreville, Md., where her parents are teachers, as well as in Sedgwick. “Molly,” as she was known, graduated from Kent School, Chestertown, Md.; St. George’s School, Newport, R.I.; and attended Washington College, Chesapeake College and College of the Atlantic. An artist and poet as well as a great sailor, Molly will be remembered for her creativity and her adventurous and passionate spirit. She was a vivacious, energetic and charming young woman who, in the end, lost her battle with serious mental illness. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Nicholas P. Everdell and his wife, Keara Shea Everdell, of New York; her grandfather, three aunts and uncles, and seven cousins. Services will be held in Maine at a later date.
