LEAVENWORTH, Kan. – Leesa Meree Haehn, 27, formerly of Fort Scott, Kan., died June 16, 2010, at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born Aug. 8, 1982, in Fort Scott, Kan., daughter of David Hite and Kathy Brown Hite. She will be lovingly missed by her husband; three-week-old daughter, Brooke Katherine of Leavenworth, Kan.; her mother and stepfather, Kathy and Brandon Malone of Fort Scott, Kan.; father and stepmother, David and Kelly Hite of Corinna; mother-in-law, Collene Haehn of Topeka, Kan.; sisters, Heather Geiger and Tausha Pelzerand Kayla Braley; stepbrothers, Josh Braley and Ryan Goltra; paternal grandparents, Richard and Leta Hite; maternal stepgrandparents, Keith and Joycelyn Malone; nieces and nephews. The Rev. Kevin Moyers will conduct funeral services 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, at Community Christian Church. Burial will be afterward at Evergreen Cemetery.
