GARLAND – Mickey Pearsall, 68, wife of the late William “Bill” Pearsall Sr., went to join him, June 18, 2010, never to be separated again. She was born July 17, 1941, Rita Clare Kronemeyer, in Philadelphia, the daughter of John and Catherine (Mullee) Kronemeyer. Her father named her “Mickey” after Mickey Mantle, for the son he never had. Mickey graduated from Philadelphia Girls Catholic High School in 1959. Mickey enjoyed working at the Bangor Mall as information booth manager and also as a receptionist for Freightliner of Maine, when she retired. Mickey had a lot of jobs, but none surpassed the things she did with her husband, her friend and partner in crime and mischief for 46 years whom she loved very much. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 73, Corinna, Senior College, Widow’s Club, a vice president of the Anchor Club and former president of Ladies Auxiliary of Garland Fire Department. One of her greatest pleasures was being a member of the Red Hatters, where she was known as Dame Wikey Mickey with the Old Babes in Red Hats of Bangor and Curvaceous Cuties of Dover-Foxcroft. Mickey was a people person who had a wonderful life and loved to put smiles on people’s faces. Surviving are three sons, Bill with a great wife, Danai, and their children, Nikola and William of Garland, Marty and his son, Marty Lee, of Dexter and Jim and Tracey and their children, Lexi, Dreamaleigh, Riley Beth, Haven and Landin of Orono; five sisters, Mary Tyson of Somerspoint, N.J., Catherine Kelly and her husband, Dick, of Corinth, Ann McClay of Westchester, Pa., TC Ryan and husband, Jack, of Southampton, Pa., and Claire Kronemeyer and her husband, Al, of Tempe, Ariz.; a goddaughter, Kathy Johnson and her husband, Geoff, of Corinth; many nieces and nephews; her special buddy and best friend, Laverne Young of Corea; and many more friends. Mickey was predeceased by her parents; and a sister, Aggie Decie. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, at Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth. Mickey and her husband, Bill, will be buried 3 p.m. Thursday, June 24, at Evergreen Cemetery, Garland.
