EAST ORLAND – Heywood C. Gray, 68, loving husband of Bonnie L. Gray, passed away June 22, 2010, at his home, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; son, Michael A. Gray and daughter-in-law, Dawn E. Gray, of Winthrop; son, Orrin A. Gray and daughter-in-law, Rebecca L. Gray, of Bucksport; stepdaughter, Cathy-Jo Owen of East Orland; stepson, Robert E. Owen Jr. of North Carolina; brother, Norman Perkins and sister-in-law, Marie Perkins, of Surry; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, including Thomas Crowell. An informal gathering to celebrate his life will be held all day Saturday, June 26, at his East Orland home. All are welcome.
