ORONO – Renae Louise (Whitney) Hile, 82, died Sunday, June 27, 2010, in Bangor. She was born May 24, 1928, in Winter Harbor, to Edith (Coombs) and Myron Whitney. She graduated from Winter Harbor High School. She retired from the University of Maine, Orono, after working 45 1/2 years in food services. She is survived by her son, Myron Hile and his wife, Robin; her granddaughter, Melinda Pelletier and her husband, Cory; her nieces and nephews, as well as many dear friends. A celebration luncheon of Renae’s life will be held 1-3 p.m. Saturday, July 3, at the Parker House, 9 Pine St., Orono. Arrangements under the care of Direct Cremation of Maine, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast.
