WINTER HARBOR – God chose for Frankie C. Jordan, 71, to come home to be with his Lord and Savior June 30, 2010. He was born Dec. 18, 1938, in Prospect Harbor, the son of Lawrence and Mabel (Black) Jordan. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, who served his time in the Navy yard before coming home to become a commercial lobsterman for the remainder of his life. He is survived by the love of his life, Linda (King) Jordan; sons, Greg and Lisa Jordan, Glen and Maria Jordan, and Allan and Dina Ashmore Jr.; daughters, Lisa Jordan Lux and Heidi Ashmore; and grandchildren, Kyle and Seth Jordan, Gabby Jordan, Jonathan, Jordan, Ameilia Lux, Rayan Kahun, Ryan and Alex Ashmore, Alissa and Cameron Cox, Dillion Young and Brian Awalt, Ashley, Billy and Georgia Connell. He is also survived by a son-in-law, Bill Connell; sister, Shiela Batson of Ellsworth; a brother, Bob Jordan of Florida; many nieces and nephews; a special couple that was just like another son, Andrew and Andrea Knipp and family; and many special friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Dickie Jordan and Lawrence Jordan Jr.; and a sister, Janet Torrey. A service of remembrance will be celebrated 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, at Old Winter Harbor School Gymnasium, 22 School St., Winter Harbor. Gifts in his memory may be sent to Rock Church, P.O.
