LOVELAND, Ohio – Douglas “Doug” L. Riddiough, P.E., 80, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 3, 2010. Mr. Riddiough was born in Bucksport, in 1930. Doug was involved in Expressway Construction and was a man of character who was interested in building people “up” as well as building highways. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Maine in 1951. He was a registered professional engineer in the states of Ohio and Maine. He was a 53-year member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church, Cincinnati, and a resident of the city of Madeira from 1964 to1989. Mr. Riddiough was an active 33rd degree freemason; a member of Montgomery Lodge No. 94, Montgomery, Ohio; a member of Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati; and a member of Syrian Shrine, Cincinnati. Mr. Riddiough is survived by his wife of 54 years, Elanie (Parker); a daughter, Debra Baker of Loveland, Ohio; a son-in-law, Thomas Baker; a grandson, Joshua Williams; several nieces, nephews and many good friends. Family and friends will be received 4-8 p.m. Thursday, July 8, at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 4600 Erie Ave., Madisonville, Ohio, where services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 9. Inurnment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
