MEDWAY – This day I pray no tears be shed for me, for I have gone home to be with my Lord, my Savior and my loved ones who have gone before. Everything I was, any good I might have done in this life, was done through the love and grace of my Lord, Jesus Christ, and I will need all eternity to thank him for his many blessings. Praise his holy name! Never forget, I love you all! I was born Jan. 17, 1921, in St. John, New Brunswick, to William G. Robertson and Gladys (Pickett) Robertson. I am survived by two children, Richard Fiske Sr. and his wife, Billie, and Douglas Fiske and his wife, Sandra, all of Medway; two daughters-in-law, Louise Fiske of East Millinocket and Gloria O’Donal of Winn; two sisters, Hilda Ciarrochi of East Millinocket and Billie Farrington and her husband, Paul, of Medway; two sisters-in-law, Rae Tapley of East Millinocket and Dianne Fiske of Medway; 13 grandchildren, Dick Jr., David, Dale, Adam, Chris, Ben, Becky, Tim, Jason, Deborah, Matthew, Karen and Brian; 13 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. I will also be missed by special friends, Claudette Dietrick, Joan Furlotte, Kelly Coon and the Branch family of Coila, Miss. I was predeceased by my husband, Ben Fiske Sr., in 1985; two sons, Ben Fiske Jr., in 1971, and William Fiske, in 1998; a grandson, Ben Fiske III; and a brother, Rod Robertson, in 2009. Graveside services for Josephine, who died July 6, 2010, will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, July 8, at Fiske Cemetery, Medway, with the Rev. Regginal Adams officiating.
