BUCKSPORT – Terri L. Jerome died on July 23, 2010, at 1:30 a.m. after a long courageous battle with emphysema. She graduated from Bucksport High School in 1976 and Husson College with a degree in accounting in 1994. After being diagnosed with cancer she was admitted to Eastern Maine Medical Center, where she finalized her plans for those who would survive her. The strength she drew from was a living relationship with the God creator, known to the Jews as the, I am, otherwise known as the word. She personally had a relationship with him and trusted that he would raise her again to a new and eternal life. Her wish to her family and friends is that they too could come to this wonderful relationship and to know that he is not far from them. So in this she sends her love to all, but especially to her father, John “Jack” Moore, who she loves dearly and molded her strength and convictions from. She leaves her four children, Adam Jerome and his wife, Amber, who gave her three grandchildren, Tim, Hallie Rose and Hope; Christopher Jerome and his wife, Chasity, who gave her three grandchildren, Christian, Casey and Catelin; Somantha Lyman and her husband, James, who gave her three grandchildren, James, Andrew and Victoria; and Tabitha Jones and her husband-to-be, Alan, who gave her a granddaughter, Abigail. Terri is also survived her brothers and sisters, Brenda Rappold of New Jersey, Jean Moore of Pennsylvania, John Moore of South Carolina, Marsha Knight, Thomas Moore, Lindy Lydick Jr. and Jamie Lydick of Maine, Jill Valdes of Florida, Tammy Salvato and Monique Delhagen, of Bucksport; and her stepfather, Lyndin Lydick of Bucksport. She was predeceased by her mother, Leah Lydick. Terri wanted her Bible study friends and her friends at Irving Circle K to know she loved you all. Special thanks to Mike Sommers, and Kevin and Becky Terrio for going the extra mile in the desert. Finally, she leaves her husband and friend, Timothy R. Jerome – 36 years as friends and companions, 34 years as husband and wife. May the peace of God be found in your souls. Thank you Dave Morrison, Mike Sheverie and Craig Clements. At Terri’s request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Terri’s memory may be made to her husband, Timothy R. Jerome, 368 Town Farm Road, Bucksport, ME 04416. Arrangements are under the direction of Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport.
