FRANKFORT – Daniel A. Kingsbury, 86, passed away July 28, 2010, at his residence. He was born Dec. 25, 1923, in Frankfort, son of Albert F. and Mabel (Shields) Kingsbury. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Evelyn; his children, Francis Kingsbury, Colleen and Douglas Mitchell, Galen and Brenda Kingsbury, Annie Rose and John McHatten, and Eric and Cindy Kingsbury; 14 grandchildren, Mona, Lynn, David, Gavin, Carolee, Darci, Kyle, Ryan, Sara, Tyson, Breanne, Gabe, Ethan and Evan; four great-grandchildren, Jacqueline, Jennifer, Adam and a very special great-grandchild, Lane; and his special canine friend, Sasha. He is also survived by three siblings, Arlene Martin, Joyce Richards and JoAnn Cook. He was predeceased by his first wife, Josephine; daughter, Madeline; and brother, Richard. At Dan’s request, there will be no services. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
