MARS HILL – Joyce M. Kinney, 80, passed away July 28, 2010, in Mars Hill. She was born Jan. 22, 1930, in Bridgewater, the daughter of Arthur and Alice (Brewer) Morse. Joyce was a graduate of Aroostook Central Institute. She attended Full Gospel Assembly, Mars Hill, and later Old Fashion Revival Center, Blaine. Joyce is survived by a niece, Connie Rideout and her husband, Donald, of Westfield; a nephew, Jodie Morse of Westfield; two great-nephews, Troy Young and his wife, Nina, and their children, Tyler, Taylor and Haylee, all of Westfield, and Todd Young of Blaine; an uncle, Wallace Brewer of East Plantation; an aunt, Katherine Boyle of Holden; and several cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Mahland Morse. The family offers a special thanks to the staff at Aroostook Medical Health Skilled Nursing Unit, Mars Hill, for Joyce’s wonderful care. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, July 31, at Tapley Cemetery, Blaine, with the Rev. Mark Carter officiating.
