BROOKTON – Eroll M. Shain Sr., 76, passed away Sept. 5, 2010, at a Houlton hospital. He was born May 12, 1934, in Brookton, the son of George and Ruth Shain. Eroll earned his master’s degree in industrial arts and taught school for 32 years. He retired to Brookton doing many things he enjoyed doing. He hunted and fished all he could with his sons and others. He is survived by his former wife, Bernice A. Shaw; daughter, Lynne Daniels; sons, Eroll Jr. and Barbara, and Kyle and Colleen; brothers, Joy and Louise, and George and Denise; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He also leaves special friends, Charissa Hagerty and Gerald Gilman. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Rosalie; and brothers, Ellsworth and William. Friends may call 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at Clay Funeral Home – Bartlett Chapel, 24 Houlton Road, Danforth, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Robert Root officiating.
