BANGOR – Edmund F. Tardiff III, 57, died unexpectedly Sept. 3, 2010, at his home. He was born Aug. 2, 1953, in Bangor, son of Marie F. (Doucette) and Edmund F. Tardiff, Jr. Ed was a lifelong resident of the Bangor/Brewer areas. He was an avid sports fan, and loved horse racing and enjoyed the time he spent at the racetrack. Surviving are two sisters, Nola DeRoche and her husband, Bob, of Bangor, and Brenda Lassen and her husband, Roger, of Charleston; a special niece, Lisa Chase and her husband, John, of Kittery; a special nephew, Robert DeRoche Jr. and his wife, Annette, of Glenburn; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by parents; and a brother, William Tardiff. A service honoring and celebrating Ed’s life will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer, where family and friends may visit 10 a.m. until the time of service.
