CARIBOU – James L. Nadeau, 87, died Sept. 4, 2010, in Caribou. He was born Sept. 23, 1922, in Caribou, son of Henry B. and Sadie (Michaud) Nadeau. Jim was employed with the Bangor & Aroostook Railroad as a lineman for several years until his retirement. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He is survived by a son, Wilson Nadeau of Caribou; a grandson, Wilson Nadeau Jr. of Caribou; a great-granddaughter, Macy Vicaire of Quebec; many special nieces and nephews, special great-nieces and great-nephews; and several brothers and sisters-in-law. He was predeceased by his wife, Lucie (Searles) Nadeau, in December 1997; and sister, Georgia Howe. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, at Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with Father Aaron Damboise, associate pastor, officiating in a Mass of Christian burial.
