CALAIS – Natalie E. (Morang) Gove, 85, wife of the late Everett F. Gove, passed away Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, in Calais. She was born Dec. 27, 1924, in Baileyville, daughter of Eugene and Ida Helene Morang. She graduated from Baileyville High School in 1942 and received a certified nurse’s aide certificate in 1975 from Washington County Vocational Technical Institute. Natalie was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker, and was employed at Calais Regional Hospital, Guilford Industries and local fish factories. She was a member of Woodland Methodist Church and Perry Grange. Natalie enjoyed nursing, caring for the elderly and activities with her friends and family. Natalie was predeceased by husband, Everett; son, Richard; and brother, Maurice Morang. She is survived by sister, Hilda Lord and husband, Lawrence, of Alexander; two daughters, Cheryl Brown of Bangor and Nancy I. H. Gray of Barrington, R.I.; seven grandchildren and spouses, JoAnn (Brown) and Stan Kulish of Blue Hill, Andrea (Gray) and Stewart Walker of Barrington, R.I., Scott and Shannon Gove of Dennsyville, Dana and Sue Gray of Sandy, Utah, Jonathan and Rachel Gray of Gorham, Sarah (Gove) and Matthew Milliken of Hollis Center, and Christopher and Mindy Brown of Milford; several great-grandchildren; many special nieces and nephews. The family thanks the caring staff at Atlantic Rehabilitation & Nursing Home, and Calais Regional Hospital. Graveside services will be held at Restlawn Cemetery, Perry. Friends who wish may make donations to American Diabetes Association.
