STETSON – Gabriel Michael Hands, our sweet little boy, passed away Sept. 12, 2010, in his sleep. He was born Aug. 3, 2010, in Bangor, the son of Michael A. and Lorraine D. (Durden) Hands. He blessed us for a short 41 days; 41 days that will always be cherished, never to be forgotten. Gabriel will remain with us always. In addition to his parents, he is survived by sisters, Dehlia Hands and Elsie Chambers Hands of Stetson, and Geneva Chambers of Hudson; paternal grandparents, Samuel and Ellen Hands of Stetson; aunts and uncles, Jody and Bill Freudenberger of Palmyra, Becky and Brad Underhill of Corinth, Sam and Julie Hands of Valleyford, Wash., Kathleen and Trevor Snow of Stetson, Timothy Hands of Stetson, Sara and Erik Hatch of Corinth, Noah Hands of Stetson and Tracy Durden of Vallejo, Calif.; good friends, Mike and Tracy Withee of Stetson; many dear cousins; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins of California. He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Edward and Lynn (McCoury) Durden. Close friends and family are invited to a gathering of remembrance 3-5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, at the home of Michael and Lori Hands, 68 Brown Road, Stetson. A service of Brookings-Smith, Bangor.
