ADDISON – Mackenzie Renae Gray, a precious gift God, passed away Sept. 14, 2010, due to a tragic car accident, along with her mom, Rachelle and stepdad, Carlos. She was born June 5, 2006, at Eastern Maine Medical Center, Bangor, the daughter of William Gray and Rachelle Parker (Tapia). In her four short years, Mackenzie has touched the lives of so many people of all ages. Her smile would light up any room she entered. She loved going hunting, fishing, four-wheeling with her dad, traveling to Florida with her mom to visit Bampie and Nana, and going to the beach. During the past month, she has enjoyed camping at Parks Pond with Grampie “Doe-Doe,” Meme and cousin, Michael. She is survived by her daddy, William R. Gray and stepmom, Sammi; a special sister, Taylor Alexis Gray, and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new baby sister; paternal grandparents, Danny and Juanita Gray of Addison; maternal grandparents, Richard and Ida Parker of Florida; great-grandparents, Norma and great-stepgrandfather, Lindy Lydick, of Bucksport and Eleanor Libby of Beals; stepgrandparents, Ray and Jeannie Derderian of Louisiana, Theresa Derderian and significant other, Arlin Alley, of Jonesport; special aunts and uncles, Daniel “uncle Bunkel” and auntie, Malinda Gray, of Addison, DJ Stewart and Hannah Derderian of Jonesport, Lebarron Libby and Roberta Garnett of Beals, Cassandra and Justin Osgood of Blue Hill, and Ryan and Laureen Libby of Bucksport; special cousins, Michael Colby Gray, Joshua and Adian Derderian, Adian and Taylor Stewart, Kylie Elizabeth Chase and twins, Sydney Rose Libbby and Taylor Raye Libby; great-aunts and great-uncles, Dwina and Broderick Alley and family of Beals, David and Lousia Drisko of Jonesboro, Ed and Teanda Smith and family of St. Albans, Edwin and Ellen Gray and family of Auburn, Alice and Bruce Grindle and family of Ellsworth, Jean and Lester Burgess and family of Harrington, and Anita Libby and partner, Renay Williams, of New York; great-cousins, Aniyah Libby Williams, Jason and Kyle Carter and James Smith of New York; special family and friends, Richard and Virginia Miller of Columbia, Ashley Cirone of Old Town, Mema and Papa Hendry and Chad of Ellsworth, Gramps and Nana Cirone and family of Addison, Holly and Jason Tyler of Addison, Leonard “Paparoni,” Nancy and Jennie Durkee of Jonesport, Lori Pineo of Addison, Derrick and Starr Beal of Jonesport, Kenny Brooks and family of Steuben, and others too numerous to mention. Friends and family are invited to attend visiting hours 5-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20, at Beals Weslyan Church. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, at Beals Elementary School.
