ORRINGTON and ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – Eleanor F. Curtis, 85, died peacefully Sept. 17, 2010, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Feb. 21, 1925, in Brewer, the daughter of Merle and Ruth (Lawrence) Spiller. She is survived by daughter, Linda Ireland and her husband, Richard, of Orrington; two grandsons, David Ireland of Orrington, and James Ireland and his wife, Libby, of Bangor; stepson, Alton Curtis Jr. of Orrington; and stepgrandchildren, Michael and Kelly Curtis of Orrington, Gail Abbas of Bradenton, Fla., and Stephen Curtis of Florida. She was predeceased by her husband, Alton Curtis; a grandson, Dennis Ireland; and two sisters, Dorothy Cornwall and Lucille Swett. A graveside service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at Marston Cemetery, Orrington. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice. <
