VERO BEACH, Fla. – Jalaine Beale, 73, died Sept. 23, 2010, at Visiting Nurse Association Hospice House, Vero Beach, Fla. She was born Feb. 22, 1937, in Millinocket, daughter of the late Jerome and Leona Moore Mott. Jalaine was raised in Millinocket, Hartford, Conn., Boston and Bucksport. A 1955 graduate of Bucksport High School, she worked for many years as an office manager at Pirates Cove Marina, Port Salerno, Fla. She was an avid reader, who loved to play with her grandchildren and travel. She is survived by daughter, Kimberly Rioseco and husband, Julian, of Vero Beach, Fla.; stepdaughter, Kimmie Beale of Detroit; stepson, Rick Wasylchak and wife, Donna, of Beacon, N.Y.; sister, Carrie Bragdon of Bangor; sister, Debi DeLoof and Christian of Oceanside, Calif.; brother, Dave Mott and wife, Ellie, of Port Orange, Fla., and Bucksport; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She is also survived by a special aunt, Marjory Moore of Millinocket. Jalaine was predeceased by her beloved husband of 24 years, Dick Beale; sons, Gary and Scott Gifford; parents, Jerome and Leona Mott; cousin, Robert Moore; several aunts and uncles.
