PRESQUE ISLE – Jennie E. Wright, 79, wife of the late Sherwood R. Wright, passed away Sept. 29, 2010, at a local hospital. She was born May 17, 1931, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Kenneth and Beatrice (Farrington) Davenport. She is survived by three sons and their wives, Edward L. and Holly Skidgel of Easton, Dusty L. and Denise Skidgel of Dixville Notch, N.H., and Shorey E. and Sylvia Skidgel of Cannan, Vt.; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Norman Ackerson of Caribou; and special friends, Jean and James Churchill of Presque Isle. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. Larry Palmer officiating.
