MARS HILL – Rowena M. Graham, 90, wife of the late Harold Graham, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at her home with her family by her side. She was born Feb. 13, 1920, in Easton, daughter of George and Emma (Broad) Patterson. Rowena had a very rewarding and fulfilling life. She attended Mars Hill High School and worked as a certified nurse’s aide at Mars Hill Nursing Home. During her years as a certified nurse’s aide she also helped her husband around the farm for 30 years. She and her husband, Harold, worked in Massachusetts for six years as caretakers. On their return back to Mars Hill they bought and remodeled a home, which had been the home of her husband, Harold, in his younger childhood.
