BANGOR – Ruth E. Wain, 72, died Oct. 4, 2010, at a Bangor nursing home. She was born Nov. 15, 1937, in Bangor, the daughter of James and Hazel (Phillips) Peterson. She was predeceased by her husband of 38 years, Raymond; a sister, Deanna; four brothers, Larry, David, James and Frederick; and a daughter-in-law, Claudette. Surviving are her six sons, Raymond and his wife, Diana, of Corinth, David of Thomaston, Conn., Fred and his wife, Melody, of Corinth, Timothy and his wife, Dina, of Glenburn, James and his wife, Lisa, of Smithfield and Terry and his wife, Kelly, of Madawaska; two daughters, Rebecca of Glenburn and Elizabeth and her husband, Rodney, of Glenburn; one sister, Eva of Bangor; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Oct. 15 at Pine Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Garnett Chute officiating.
