RIPLEY – Marilyn P. Tewksbury, 78, died Oct. 29, 2010, at her residence. She was born Feb. 18, 1932, in Dexter, a daughter of Nathan and Gladys (Tracy) Pease. She graduated from Dexter High School, Class of 1951. Marilyn had been employed as a cashier at Red & White, now Bud’s Shop ‘n Save, Dexter, and as an insurance agent for Abbot Realty & Insurance. She was a member and longtime officer of Cleora Rebekah Lodge, and attended Ripley United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Harold; a son, Stephen and his wife, Kim Tewksbury, all of Ripley; two grandchildren, Samuel Tewksbury of Ripley and Stephanie Tewksbury and her fiance, Larry Pinckney, of Bluffton, S.C.; and two great-grandchildren, Logan and Samantha Pinckney. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, at Ferndale Cemetery, Ripley, with the Rev. Stephen Dean officiating. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
