EAGLE LAKE – Bernadette “Bunny” (Desjardins) St. Peter, 89, died peacefully Nov. 22, 2010, at an Eagle Lake health care facility. She was born Oct. 24, 1921, in New Canada Plantation, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Bouchard Desjardins. Bunny is survived by three daughters, Jean Kinney of Longmont, Colo., Betty Madore of Van Buren and Donna Geiger of Long Island, N.Y.; one son, Thomas J. St. Peter of Eagle Lake; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; her sister, Cecile Hill of Rockford, Minn.; two brothers, Louis Desjardins of Fort Kent and Paul Desjardins of Meridan, Conn.; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, John “Harold” St. Peter, in 2002; five brothers, Vin, Robert, Jossie, Bill and John Desjardins; and one sister, Mary Allard. Private graveside services will take place at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Caribou.
