CARMEL and DOVER-FOXCROFT – Edith A. Goodwin, 80, died Nov. 23, 2010, at her residence. She was born May 3, 1930, in Exeter, a daughter of Frank and Ella (Batchelder) Call. She was a self-employed housekeeper. Edith was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Bangor, and the Star in the East Chapter No. 17, Order of the Eastern Star, Hampden. She is survived by two daughters, Linda and husband, Tyrone Spratt, of Glenburn and Deborah and husband, Ronald Kaulfers, of Middleburg, Fla.; two brothers, Charles Call of New Hampshire and Cedric Call of Florida; four grandchildren, Tyrone Spratt II, Teresa Spratt, Cheri Authement and Shaun Kaulfers; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Melvin, in 1999. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main St., Newport.
