VAN BUREN – Richard D. Bresett, 81, died unexpectedly Nov. 22, 2010, at a Van Buren health care facility. He was born Aug. 28, 1929, in Springfield, Mass., son of Clifford and Grace (Hill) Bresett. He was employed as a truck driver for many years. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Marguerite (Perusse) Bresett of Van Buren; three daughters, Gayle McKissack and Judy Hardt, both of Van Buren, and Marianne Bresett of Madawaska; two sons, Michael Bresett and wife, Diane, of Van Buren, and Richard Bresett of Van Buren; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Richard was predeceased by one son, Douglas Bresett, in 1992; and two brothers, Leon and Clifford David Bresett. Relatives and friends may call 11 a.m. until time of service Sunday at Christ Life Fellowship Church, Madawaska, where a funeral service will begin 1 p.m. with Pastor Cameron Price officiating.
